Gran's Jelly Slice
Ingredients
- one package Marie biscuits or graham crackers
- 6 oz butter
- one tin condensed milk
- juice of 2 lemons
- 2 teaspoons gelatine dissolved in 3/4 cup boiling water
- 1 package jello mix, any flavor
Directions
- Cruch biscuits, melt butter and mix with biscuits.
- Spread and pack mixture in bottom of glass baking dish to form a crust. Refrigerate.
- Mix tin of condensed milk with juice of 2 lemons and add gelatine dissolved
in boiling water.
- Mix and pour over biscuit base. Refrigerate till firm.
- Make jello according to directions of package and pour over mixture. Refrigerate till set.
- To serve, cut in squares.
Nell's Chololate Chip Cookie Pie
Ingredients
- 6 oz chocolate chips
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 ready made (or homemade) pie crust
- 6 oz coarsely chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions
- Combine butter, sugar, flour, and eggs. Fold walnuts into mixture
- Sprinkle chips on bottom of pie crust.
- Pour flour mixture over chocolate chips.
- Sprinkle walnuts on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for one hour.
